Pierce Parkhill

Welcome to the Sustainable Urban Design Blog! My name is Pierce Parkhill, and I am a 16-year-old high school sophomore from Connecticut with a passion for sustainable development, especially in coastal tourism and urban planning. Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in climate-related research, recently completing an internship at SoundWaters in Stamford, Connecticut, where I gathered, analyzed and presented environmental data. I’m eager to expand my understanding of climate issues, environmental science and the intersection of environmental factors and development. I am committed to promoting coastal and urban development that prioritizes environmental sustainability and obtains an aspect of cohesion with the local ecosystem.
